| Defying Aging without Surgery |
|
Many peoples say that age is just a number. That’s basically true----as long as your skin does not betray you and scream your age to anyone who’d care to listen.
The skin is the biggest age giveaway. A lot of people resort to surgery or some no-invasive skin procedure to counteract the effect of age of their skin. However, one does not actually have to resort to those kinds of expensive and possibly dangerous treatments just to look young. There are some things you can do at home that will keep your skin looking like you’re in your 20’s for always.
Mask with some milk-lemon curd
Whole milk mixed with some fresh lemon juice defies aging like no other. The combination yields lactic acid that mildly exfoliates the skin, lifting off dry skin cells. Lactic acid also helps diminish age spots and make the skin soft and smooth. Regular use will help fade wrinkles and will restore skin’s elasticity.
Use a homemade vitamin C toner
Collagen repair is the duty of vitamin C. It’s good if you drink this in the form of supplements daily. What’s even better is to apply it topically. While there are hundreds of Vitamin C face products available in the market today, most of them are filled with chemicals and preservatives since vitamin C oxidizes easily. The best thing you can do is to make your own toner by dissolving a few vitamin C tablets in distilled water. Place the mixture in a dark amber bottle and apply regularly at night. This formula will keep everyone guessing about your age.
Love vegan oils
Vegetable derived oils such as extra virgin olive oil and jojoba oil make very good facial moisturizers. These oils are dirt cheap, are rich in anti-oxidants, naturally occurring, and accessible. Women love fancy products from time to time. While the bulk of them are good, naturally occurring plant based oils are even better. When used regularly, these oils will maintain the skin’s elasticity and will make you look younger.
Have an avocado facial once a week
Ripe avocado is one of the best things you can apply to your face. It is rich in vitamin A and avocado oil is one of nature’s best moisturizers. Every week, make a paste out of one avocado and apply neatly on your face. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse off. Your skin will thank you for many years to come.
